Our founder, Danny Young, serves as president and chief operating officer of Quality Roofing Systems with oversight of the company's sales, administration, and production systems.

Danny started the business in July 1970 after serving in the United States Air Force during Vietnam. With only a few employees to start, Danny has grown Quality from a modest residential roofing business to a successful commercial roofing company involved in major projects throughout New England.

A founding member of the Connecticut Roofing Contractors Association, Danny is most proud to have his brother, sister and five children involved in the success of Quality Roofing. Danny is married and has four sons and two daughters.

Upon receiving an honorable discharge from the US Navy, Tyler began his career with Quality Roofing Services in 2004. Believing that to effectively sell and manage roofing projects, he needed to learn the business from the ground up, Tyler spent much of his initial time at QRS roofing with the crews.

Eventually, Tyler moved into sales, estimating and project management, where he continues to grow his knowledge and experience with all aspects of the commercial roofing business. When conducting business with Tyler, you can expect honesty, integrity, and a genuine desire to understand the unique needs of your building and business and how Quality Roofing can meet and exceed your needs.

Tyler is married to Seana; when not spending time with her and their young daughter, Tyler enjoys listening to music and spending time in the Great Outdoors.

Deb began her longtime career with Quality Roofing as a secretary 41 years ago. Without any prior experience, she has worked her way up to Controller, fully in charge of the company's finances.

Deb’s responsibilities include contract and bidding opportunity reviews, compliance issues and state, local and private general contractor prequalifications. Deb is in charge of payroll, reporting and the company's Affirmative Action (AA) and Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) monitoring and reporting.

While working full-time at QRS, Deb (and her husband) have managed to raise three children and has three grandchildren. Outside the office, she likes to boat, swim, hike, refinish and repurpose furniture and go to Crossfit and Row Rage. She also enjoys gardening, cooking, sewing, and interior decorating. But most of all she loves spending time with her family and taking long walks with her dog.

Omar Valdes has served as Services Manager at Quality Roofing Services, LLC since 2008. He leads day-to-day service operations and coordinates field crews to deliver timely, high-quality roofing solutions for commercial clients. As the primary point of contact for service engagements, Omar oversees roof inspections, repair work, preventive maintenance, and client communications to ensure dependable results and clear expectations.

Omar manages and schedules service crews for inspections, maintenance, and repairs, conducts and supervises roof inspections including bi-annual contracts, and develops and administers annual maintenance and preventive maintenance programs. He leads leak investigations and implements effective repair strategies, enforces safety protocols and quality-control standards to meet project timelines, and communicates with property managers and clients to provide updates, recommendations, and cost estimates.

Omar’s background includes prior work with a nationwide roofing corporation, giving him broad industry exposure and experience with structured processes, safety programs, and rigorous quality-control practices. He brings hands-on expertise in commercial flat and metal roofing systems, leak detection and remediation, preventive maintenance planning and contract management (including annual maintenance and bi-annual inspection contracts), field operations coordination and crew supervision, client relations and estimating, and strict safety compliance and quality assurance to ensure long-term roof performance and reliable service for QRS clients.

Luis Luna has been a key leader at Quality Roofing Services since 2010, overseeing field operations across a diverse portfolio of commercial roofing projects. In his role as General Superintendent, Luis is responsible for managing multiple crews and job sites simultaneously, ensuring that each project is executed safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with project specifications. His deep experience across a wide range of roofing systems—including EPDM, TPO, and PVC—allows him to anticipate challenges, coordinate logistics, and maintain consistent quality from project kickoff through final inspection.

Known for his hands-on leadership style, Luis works closely with project managers, subcontractors, and field crews to maintain clear communication and accountability on every job. He plays a critical role in enforcing safety protocols, meeting production schedules, and upholding the high standards Quality Roofing Services is known for. Whether managing complex commercial installations or coordinating fast-paced repair work, Luis brings a disciplined, detail-oriented approach that ensures projects are completed on time, on budget, and to the highest level of craftsmanship.

Marcus Rogers joined Quality Roofing Services in 2022 and serves as a Project Manager and Estimator, supporting commercial clients from initial assessment through project completion. With a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from Central Connecticut State University, Marcus brings a strong foundation in project planning, cost analysis, and construction best practices. He is responsible for developing accurate estimates, evaluating project scope, and coordinating with clients and internal teams to ensure each project is aligned with both budget and performance expectations.

In his project management role, Marcus works closely with field crews, vendors, and building owners to maintain clear communication, efficient scheduling, and consistent quality throughout the lifecycle of each job. His detail-oriented approach helps ensure that projects are completed safely, on time, and to specification. Whether supporting large-scale commercial installations or targeted repair work, Marcus is committed to delivering reliable solutions and a seamless experience for Quality Roofing Services clients.
