TPC River Highlands Clubhouse – Cromwell, CT

Tan TPO was used for better aesthetics in Club House overhead TV shots.
Being selected to install the mixed element roof for the new clubhouse at the TPC River Highlands golf course in Cromwell, CT is as high-profile as it gets. Our workmanship would be on display to television viewers around the world at least once a year during the Travelers Championship golf tournament.
For this project, we worked in conjunction with Bartlett Brainard Eacott, Inc., and a wide variety of other subcontractors. This mixed element roof consisted of three separate components – flat roof for the buildings service equipment such as HVAC, architectural asphalt shingles for the majority o the roof and standing steam metal for accent areas.
The architectural asphalt shingles are Certainteed Grand Manor shingles, ideal for steep slope installations. The metal is dark bronze Firestone Una-Clad 1 1/2″ mechanical lock on 16″ wide panels. And the flat roof sections are Carlisle TPO mechanically attached over 5.2″ of insulation. The roof was finished with custom-fabricated half-round Una-Clad gutters to match the standing seam metal roof. This installation carries a 20-year manufacturer warranty.
